CVCAN Newsletter – 5/8/2020

Message from the Secretary

To All our CVCAN Members, Bronze, Silver and those Gold Members, I want to first say Thank You for your continued support by keeping your membership dues paid in these difficult times for ALL of US!. None of us has Ever Been in this environment before and God willing, we won’t again. You’re CVCAN Board of Directors are sensitive to the business changes that you’ve had to make in this Corona Virus 2020 year. We realize that we are not out of this yet but, we are confident that this Valley and the Cities in this Valley will survive and will gradually get back to a “new normal”.

CVCAN’S existence depends on our membership and the “special events” that we have promoted and sponsored with your help in the past. Obviously, this is a different year. The reopening of our businesses and communities will take some time and patience. Your BOD is meeting regularly to “think out of the box” in creating even a better Value for your membership with CVCAN. We, the CVCAN organization, work for you! Without you, we have no “cannabis voice of the Coachella Valley”!

Our Executive Director that you all love, Quentin Dusastre, has put together a “survey” that is in this newsletter. PLEASE take a minute to share your thoughts. It’s very quick! This will give your BOD some more “direction” from our membership. Believe me, we’re coming up with some New and Valuable ways to promote you and your businesses in the coming months. Quentin will soon be starting a calling campaign to hear your thoughts and Thank You for your membership and involvement. We appreciate your feedback with Quentin.

We are still hopeful that we’ll be able to hold our Annual Golf Tournament which was the First Cannabis Golf Event in California. People are Still talking about it. We’ll also continue to schedule our Zoom Meetings with Important guests from local, County and State Government and the Cannabis Industry. We’re taking a more active approach to “Highlight” our Members, starting with our Gold Members in correspondence with these events and in our Newly formed Newsletter that your reading and this will definitely add more Value to your membership while getting your business better known to the membership.

Once Again, Thank You! We’re Here For You!

Sincerely

Jim Nelson – CVCAN Board Secretary / Board Member
