It may be August in the Coachella Valley, but that didn’t stop our members and guests from showing up in style to CVCAN’s August Event, “Education & Dinner: Wellness with Weed” presented by Elisabeth and Sherri Mack of Holistic Caring & Green Nurse!

 

We are very thankful for their presentation on the science of Cannabis and how it interacts with our Endocannabinoid System. If our high school science teachers were as informative and entertaining as Elizabeth and Sherri Mack, we would all be a lot more educated! It was one of the first times our dinner meeting attendees paid absolute, quiet, and focused attention.‎

 

We also had an excellent turn out to welcome and congratulate our new Board President, Scott Rusczyk! We are so happy to have him on board as we embark on the next chapter of CVCAN history. CVCAN is always grateful for our amazing members and leadership teams.

 

The event was held at Miracle Springs Resort and Spa in Desert Hot Springs. The supportive and hospitable team at Miracle Springs always treat us well! They even greeted us with door prizes! We feasted on a delicious turkey dinner while we listened to the informative presentations. Who says you have to wait until November for Thanksgiving?!
