Canna Mixer 2026
July 10, 2026
CVCAN held its second mixer this year at the Dune Room in Indio on July 10th and it was an outstanding success. This event brought together a broad network of East Valley business organizations and artists. Whether you are in the cannabis space or just canna friendly, you are welcome at CVCAN!!
Many thanks to Ron Mesh and his team at the The Dune Room for being our title sponsor and hosting us for this event. This chic new music venue provided a variety of amazing amenities including great bites, drinks and specials for our guests. The stage, lighting and dynamic sound amplified the vibe. As a result, we were able to put on a wonderful evening of presentations. Please support the Dune Room people!!!
Additionally, we want to thank the folks from Ganja Mingle, also a title sponsor, for the fabulous presentation regarding their innovative app connecting our local canna community! Feel the vibe, find your tribe! The future of canna communication is here and it is Ganja Mingle.
Big shout out to The Center for Employment Training (CET) for their sponsorship. CET offers a wonderful free tuition program for vocational training for anyone and their family members who are plant touchers. Simply an amazing program and please check them out.
Our feature presentation was a discussion panel consisting of three different artists, Panik, BLK and IAmAnti. These visual and performing artists, East Valley born and raised, have a wealth of experience in local history, as well as cannabis and creative culture. The panel discussion was focused on each artist’s experience concerning the impact cannabis has had on their careers and the need for more spaces that inspire creative community growth with cannabis. One point raised was the vibrant cannabis eco system being intertwined with the local festival culture in the Coachella Valley. It was noted that predominantly cannabis catered experiences and cannabis tourism is significant in the West Valley and enjoyed amongst a diverse range of consumers. We hope these sorts of conversations become more prevalent leading to additional development of canna friendly social spaces and business in the East Valley.
Then it was After Party Time with sounds provided by DJ Ahvee and DJ Falcon and celebrated the July birthdays of CVCAN Board Members Erick Lemus and Kevin Lopez. Joining in on the fun, were a powerhouse of locally renowned artists, business owners, music/events producers, and local organizations including but not limited to, Indio Arts Commissioner Armenta and Lanny Swerdlow from the Brownie Marie Democrats of California.
We would like to sincerely thank all our sponsors and supporters – without you, there is no magic!!
