CVCAN, together with the Mizell Center in Palm Springs, hosed an event entitled “Therapeutic Use of Cannabis and Healthy Aging” as presented
by CVCAN Board Member Elisabeth Mack, RN, BSN, MBA and CVCAN Health & Wellness Committee Co-Chair, Sherri Mack, RN, BSN. The event was a tremendous success. Elisabeth and Sherri provided attendees an
excellent opportunity to understand how plant medicine is able to positively impact their lives. Topics included support of the endocannabinoid system, cannabis for pain management and nuances of medical, recreational and wellness uses of cannabis. The presentation was made to a packed house of seniors and the Canna Curious from the local area and was followed by a fascinating Q&A session. Great job Elisabeth & Sherri!
