CVCAN’s 2024 Holiday Toy Drive was a resounding success!!

CVCAN held its inaugural Holiday Toy Drive over the course of November & December 2024 and thanks to all who participated, we are happy to share that it was tremendous success.

Born from the concept that every child should have a toy during the Holiday Season, CVCAN enlisted the help of ten CVCAN Members and associates to set up ten drop off sites for toy

collection throughout the Coachella Valley.  Such Members and associates inluded:

Desert Pacific Properties

The Micro Buddery

St. Ides & Pabst Labs

Green Horizons

Gold Flora

818 Brands PS

Double Eye Dispensary & Lounge

West Coast Cannabis Club

Green Pearl Organics

As a result of the generosity of participating members, associates and of course their employees and customers, we were able to collect well over 100 toys for donation to the charities identified below for further distribution of families in need.  Charities included:

The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission

The Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City (via the Roost)

Food Now

Martha’s Village

CVCAN’s Board is truly grateful for all the support in helping to make this past Holiday Season a bit brighter for those in need.  Much love!

Special Mentions:

Thank you, Green Horizons, Pabst & St. Ides, and Gold Flora for creating internal collection sites within your companies!

Thank you to Nichole & Sam Turner, Sami Dippner and her team at the Micro Buddery, and Kenneth Churchill and his team at West Coast Cannabis Club for going above and beyond helping us out with deliveries to the charity sites.  And much love to the CVCAN Events Committee for crafting beautifully decorated Drop Boxes!!

This was our first crack at a Valley Wide Holiday Toy Drive and CVCAN looks forward to making an even more robust Drive in 2025!!!
