The Coachella Valley has its own cannabis trade association – the Coachella Valley Cannabis Alliance Network, or CVCAN, as it’s known.

Based in the booming cannabis center of the Coachella Valley, Desert Hot Springs, CVCAN is comprised of more than 100 members working together to serve as the voice of the cannabis industry as they educate and advocate about, and for, cannabis.

Credibility, education and best practices are also the tenets to which this cannabis trade association is committed to on behalf of its members, and to that end, provides them with relevant news, legislative updates, educational programs and community outreach. The organization is also a valued member of the community and gives back through fundraising on behalf of other nonprofit organizations including the Desert Cancer Foundation.

This cannabis trade association has three levels of membership available and every membership includes a place at the monthly networking dinner/virtual event, a linked company logo on the website, the opportunity to provide two company/individual posts on the CVCAN social media platforms, access to cross member discounts, discounts to CCIA and NCIA events, updates on relevant local industry information and political representation with state and national elected officials. Higher membership levels include additional benefits.

An executive director, working board and multiple committees ensures that the CVCAN cannabis trade association operates efficiently and effectively on behalf of its members, and offers many ways to participate and benefit.

New members can be directly or indirectly involved with the cannabis industry including cultivators, dispensary owners, product manufacturers and cannabis industry vendors including products and services. The ability of all members to network with each other may be one of the most valuable aspects to membership with this cannabis trade association.
